As I said in my first post, it took me a while to get to a place emotional and physically that I was truly ready to begin losing my baby weight. I lost weight before getting pregnant with my twins this same way, but wasn't sure I could do it after 4 babies. However, I'm proof that this worked before I had my babies and now after! So, first things first. YOU HAVE TO BE READY TO CHANGE. Second, YOU WILL NEED A WEIGHT LOSS PLAN. With no plan you can easily lose your focus. Here is a list of a few things that you will need to have to get started.
-WRITING INSTRUMENT (MARKER, CRAYON ACCEPTABLE)
-A SCALE (MINE IS AN INEXPENSIVE ONE FROM WAL-MART)
-PAPER
-MEASURING TAPE (I USE TWINE AND A 12 IN RULER..GO FIGURE)
-CALORIE COUNTING APP (I DIDN'T USE ONE BUT IF YOU CANT KEEP TRACK IN YOUR HEAD I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS IN THE BEGINNING)
-A CAMERA (I USED MY PHONE)
You will be using most of these items on a daily basis. The paper and writing instrument will be used to track your progress. Date you start, your weight at least once a week, and inches lost that week. The scale will be used once per day. The measuring tape will be used to measure your waist and hips in inches. The camera will be used every 2 weeks to document your physical appearance.
In my next post, I will be going into more detail about the WEIGHT LOSS PLAN. So in the meantime gather your materials and really do some soul searching to decide when and if you are ready to change! I promise it is worth it. Remember I've done it twice now and I am still doing it!
