Get Motivated by My Stats

Hopefully, you have been doing some soul searching and deciding if you are ready to make life changes and begin simply losing weight! I wanted to share my stats with you as a motivator. I started my weight loss plan on September 2. I weighed 140 lb. by September 18 I was down 135 lb. By September 30 I was 133 lb.  On October 13 I was 130 lb. and on October 22 I was 125 lb. You can start to see the pattern of how my body loses weight. Needless to say I feel so much better and have a lot more energy to take care of my babies and create and paint for my antique booth! I am by no means finished losing my goal weight is about 115 lb right now. Belly fat is hard to lose and one of the most dangerous to have. I promise I will begin explaining my weight loss plan in the next few days!

Getting Yourself Ready

As I said in my first post, it took me a while to get to a place emotional and physically that I was truly ready to begin losing my baby weight. I lost weight before getting pregnant with my twins this same way, but wasn't sure I could do it after 4 babies. However, I'm proof that this worked before I had my babies and now after! So, first things first. YOU HAVE TO BE READY TO CHANGE. Second, YOU WILL NEED A WEIGHT LOSS PLAN. With no plan you can easily lose your focus. Here is a list of a few things that you will need to have to get started.
-WRITING INSTRUMENT (MARKER, CRAYON ACCEPTABLE)
-A SCALE (MINE IS AN INEXPENSIVE ONE FROM WAL-MART)
-PAPER
-MEASURING TAPE (I USE TWINE AND A 12 IN RULER..GO FIGURE)
-CALORIE COUNTING APP (I DIDN'T USE ONE BUT IF YOU CANT KEEP TRACK IN YOUR HEAD I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS IN THE BEGINNING)
-A CAMERA (I USED MY PHONE)

You will be using most of these items on a daily basis. The paper and writing instrument will be used to track your progress. Date you start, your weight at least once a week, and inches lost that week. The scale will be used once per day. The measuring tape will be used to measure your waist and hips in inches. The camera will be used every 2 weeks to document your physical appearance.

In my next post, I will be going into more detail about the WEIGHT LOSS PLAN. So in the meantime gather your materials and really do some soul searching to decide when and if you are ready to change! I promise it is worth it. Remember I've done it twice now and I am still doing it!

Simply Lose

After having 4 babies in 4 years. My body was very out of shape. I tipped the scale at 150 pounds after having my sweet Scarlett. I was not in the right frame of mind until recently to even begin thinking about losing weight. I created this blog to help other women and mothers have the courage to begin the journey of losing weight and becoming healthier post baby. I look forward to sharing my weight loss plan and the success I have had in the recent months! You won't be disappointed!
